Tobee® TP65QV Drainage Vertical Slurry Pumps are heavy-duty vertical cantilever sump pumps designed for reliable drainage and slurry handling in mining, mineral processing and industrial applications. The pumps operate vertically with the wet end submerged in the sump, making them suitable for applications where conventional horizontal slurry pumps are difficult to install.
The cantilever design eliminates submerged bearings and shaft sealing components, while the semi-open, double-suction impeller provides effective handling of abrasive slurries and suspended solids. Optional agitators can help keep settled solids in suspension.
Tobee® TP Vertical Slurry Pump Key Features
• Vertical cantilever design — no submerged bearings or shaft seal
• No gland water required — reduces auxiliary water consumption
• Heavy-duty slurry construction for abrasive and high-density slurries
• Double-suction semi-open impeller for high-capacity slurry handling
• Various shaft lengths to suit different sump depths
• Hard-metal or rubber-lined wet-end options
• Optional agitator to keep settled solids in suspension
• Optional recessed impeller for larger particles
• Suitable for continuous and intermittent “snore” operation
Typical Applications:
TP Series Drainage Vertical Slurry Pumps are designed for demanding industries where abrasive slurry, solids-laden liquids, and sump drainage are part of the process. Typical industries include:
Mining & Mineral Processing — mine sump drainage, slurry collection, tailings and process water handling
Metallurgy & Mineral Concentration — iron ore, copper, gold, nickel and other mineral processing plants
Coal Preparation — coal washing, slurry drainage, fines and waste handling
Power Generation — ash handling, desulfurization and abrasive wastewater drainage
Aggregate & Sand Processing — sand, gravel and fines slurry transfer
Cement & Building Materials — abrasive slurry and process-water drainage
Dredging & Marine Operations — sediment, sand and solids-laden water handling
Chemical Processing — corrosive and abrasive slurry transfer, depending on material selection
Construction & Tunneling — excavation water, mud and slurry drainage
Industrial Wastewater Treatment — sludge, solids and abrasive wastewater handling
